River Man Poster Concept

Poster concept for River Man. I used dramatic lighting to make the River Man stand out from the water as they have very similar colour sets, other wise he would have seemed to fade into the background.

River Man Humanoid

Humanoid Appearance for River Man.
i wanted to keep the overtly large arms and legs as I believe that these are iconic character traits from his original design that means that he will still be recognizable as a human. for instance, another one of these traits would be his sideburns, something resembling the cheek fluff that the River Man has in his original form.

River man - Final Concept

The final concept of the river man has been edited to make him appear more seal like. For instance, the large ears have been reduced to tiny lobes, his nose has been flattened similar to that of a seals muzzle and his irises have been enlarged to almost fill the whole eye. The original brows have also been darkened so that expression will be clearer.

Wedding Attire for Little Red

For the final scene of 'Little Red' I want to show a comedic aspect to what is thought one of the more horrifying of the Brothers Grimm Fairy tales. I will do this by instead of the woodcutter and red running off into the sunset together, the wolf and the wood cutter fall in love, and are married.

Female / Male Concept for River Man.

two different aspects of the River Mans interest, and the protagonist of the River Man story. The director was unsure whether they wanted a male or female protagonist so two designs where created, both based around the concept of being a polar opposite to the River Man in colour scheme. so, while the river man is blue/green/black, the Protagonist is Red/Gold/White.

The male character shown has been chosen by the director for the final design.

Character / Background Concept - River Man

Final layout for the main area featured in the 'River Man' story, the bridge that the protagonist throws the ring from.

Character concept/ design for the 'River Man', instruction was given on what the character's features should be, such as the flipper feet and hands. Main inspiration was taken from seals and sea-lions.

Turn arounds Part 2

Final Wolf turn around. Decided that the green colour looked best in comparison to Little Reds Attire.
